SHAY: Ah, a cultivator. Um, what's a cultivator?
SHELLEY: We grow things.
SHAY: I see. Like trees, plants?
SHELLEY: Humans, suns.
SHAY: Interesting. Are there a lot of you?
SHELLEY: Quite a few. It's a common profession. God is definitely interested in growth.
SHAY: I would assume so. May I ask what is typically involved in cultivating?
SHELLEY: A lot of water.
SHAY: Regular, normal water?
SHELLEY: That too, but there's also something called divine water.
SHAY: You mean holy water?
SHELLEY: Well, I guess that would be the way your world would describe it. We tend to look at it as God's Blood.
SHAY: Running through everything...
SHELLEY: Now you're getting it.
SHAY: So where do you get the “water” from?
SHELLEY: It’s built in.
SHAY: To what?
SHELLEY: To us.
SHAY: So when you sign up for the job, you're somehow “altered” so that you're able to cultivate?
SHELLEY: That's one way of looking at it.
SHAY: I'm assuming you guys are pretty busy.
SHELLEY: We're always working, yes.
SHAY: May I ask why you do this?
SHELLEY: Why wouldn't we do it?
SHAY: I mean, why are you called to this job in particular?
SHELLEY: Bringing life to where there was none, is especially satisfying. You humans understand that.
SHAY: Some of us do. Thank you so much for your time.
SHELLEY: Let me know if you ever need anything.
SHAY: I'll be sure to let you know.
